Saddle up — A Ranch Musical is officially going on the road!
After months of post-production, festival submissions, community support, and behind-the-scenes work, we are thrilled to announce our first upcoming screening stops for A Ranch Musical. This heartfelt western musical, filmed in and around Elko County, Nevada, is beginning its next chapter: meeting audiences beyond the ranch.
What started as a dream between friends, filmmakers, musicians, ranchers, and a generous western community is now preparing to travel to new towns, new theaters, and new audiences. We cannot wait to share the music, landscapes, humor, heart, and spirit of this film with the people who helped make it possible — and with those discovering it for the first time.
First Stop: Burbank, California
Our first announced screening will take place in Burbank, California on August 1st, 2026.
This Los Angeles-area screening will be an especially meaningful milestone for the film. As our first screening in Southern California, it marks a homecoming of sorts for Director Natalie Aramendia and the filmmaking team, bringing this Nevada ranch story to the heart of the entertainment industry.
The Burbank event will be a private screening hosted at Wisteria Theater, a small women-owned theater and will include a special live performance by our lead actress, producer, and western music star Kristyn Harris. Kristyn’s music is the heartbeat of A Ranch Musical, and having her perform alongside the screening will make this first stop even more special.
More details for invited guests will be shared soon.
Next Stop: Payson, Arizona
After Burbank, A Ranch Musical will continue down the trail to Payson, Arizona for the Western Heritage and Film Festival.
This stop feels like a perfect fit for the film. With its celebration of western storytelling, heritage, music, and culture, the festival provides a wonderful home for a movie that was made to honor ranch life and the people who keep western traditions alive.
Kristyn Harris is scheduled to perform during the festival on Tuesday, August 11, and A Ranch Musical is scheduled to screen on Friday, August 14.
We are especially excited to share the film with an audience that already loves western stories, cowboy culture, music, and the enduring spirit of rural life. This festival stop will be a chance to celebrate not only the movie, but the traditions that inspired it.
Then We Ride to Kentucky
Our third announced stop will take us to Midway, Kentucky for the EQUUS Film & Arts Festival.
EQUUS is a natural home for A Ranch Musical, with its focus on equestrian stories, western culture, art, and films that celebrate the deep bond between people, horses, and the land. We are honored to bring our film to a festival that uplifts stories rooted in animals, heritage, and the communities shaped by them.
More details about our Kentucky screening, schedule, and festival events will be announced soon.
A Film Made to Be Shared
A Ranch Musical was always meant to be more than a film. It is a love letter to the West, to ranch families, to music, to community, and to the idea that tradition and innovation can ride together.
The movie follows a traditional female rancher fighting to protect her family’s land while unexpectedly teaming up with a tech-savvy new neighbor. Through music, romance, humor, and wide-open Nevada landscapes, the film explores what it means to preserve the past while stepping bravely into the future.
As this film begins traveling to new audiences, we carry with us the people, places, and memories that made it possible.

Stay Saddled Up
These first three screenings are only the beginning, and we hope there will be more trail stops to come.
We invite our community to save the dates, follow along, and help us spread the word. If you know of a local theater, western event, film festival, ranching organization, or community venue that might be a good fit for A Ranch Musical, we would love to hear from you.
The trail is just beginning — and we are so grateful to have you riding with us.
Stay saddled up for more details, ticket information, and screening announcements coming soon.
